Principal consultant Peter McMillan has extensive experience in multifaceted criminal, administrative civil and sports investigations, including risk management, compliance and security across diverse disciplines.

Peter has lectured internationally in intelligence collection – (management, applications and human sources), brief preparation, project management, development and implementation of initiatives contributing to the protection of organisational integrity goals and the development, training and management of investigative personnel.

As Chief Investigator, Racing Victoria LTD for over 12 years, Peter managed advised on and directed investigations and intelligence relating to matters impacting or potentially impacting on the overall integrity of the Victorian thoroughbred horse racing industry.

Accountabilities included the collating, preparation and oversight of Briefs of Evidence in complex cases, particularly where allegations of corruption existed or a range of forensic inquiries were necessary.

Peter briefed and advised internal and external legal counsel and managed investigative, analytical and intelligence staff and a range of integrity programs and functions. He prepared and managed investigation related budgets for Australia's leading racing authority.

Peter has developed close personal alliances with racing and sports related regulatory bodies around the world.

Elected Chairman of the Asia Pacific Racing Integrity Conference in 1997 and serving until 2008, he established and developed effective global liaison and integrity based learning opportunities for principal racing authorities and regulatory/compliance agencies in Europe, the US and the Asia Pacific.

For over 10 years, he managed the investigative training and development of investigators and racing regulators from the Asia Pacific region across the three major racing codes.
